 Nice but has a couple flaws.Dec 25, 2011

I picked up this bag so that I could bring my skateboard on flights. As others have mentioned this bag is on the small side but it fits my Kindle, headphones and some snacks. it is the perfect size for my needs. The problem with this bag is that the top strap is too short to fit my Oso (Arbor) skateboard. When I carried another board in it I was very careful not to abrade the surface of the bag with my griptape when I put the board in. To my surprise, when I pulled the board out at the other end of my trip I found the surface of the bag showing moderate signs of wear and the stitching worn through. Being that this bag is designed to carry skateboards the surface facing the griptape needs to be re-enforced to prevent this type of premature wear. If it wasn't for the short strap and surface abrasion, this bag would get 5 stars from me. I posted images to show the issues.

This is a good backpack, holds my skateboard pretty well, although putting it there, can rub against the fabric and kinda fray it.
It's pretty small. 2 pockets. Not enough, and because of the design, it doesn't hold as much as I would like it to (gets tight, especially in the front pocket).
The handle is thin too, harder to hold by when your bag weighs a lot.
Otherwise its a pretty good backpack. been using it for half a year. No tears, straps are padded, holds two drinks, and works out well for school life.

Yes it is kinda small but its still a very good backpack. Great for school. Fits about 2 textbooks and a couple of notebooks. I have my phone, 2 ipods, mp3 player, cellphone, 3 pairs of earbuds, headphones, textbook, sketch book, composition notebook, 2 five subject notebooks, and my hat and chargers. So it holds a decent amount due to its size.

it was perfect for what i needed. Its not the biggest but i like them better small than huge and bulky.

The backpack is a bit small and thin but works for me as a college student (in terms of quality and price).
I was looking for a lighter, smaller backpack to replace my bulky High Sierra Pack that I had used since High School. This backpack won't hold a lot, I'd say maybe 2 binders (2 inch) would fit without stretching the backpack--which is not a problem for me since in college I only carry 2 notebooks (paper), a netbook, a calculator and a few pen/pencils. However if you are buying this for a student who uses their backpack to hold everything (Middle/High school students who do not use their lockers), this is not the backpack for you.
The backpack can actually hold my 31.75 inch Arbor Koa(short)longboard--but barely. In contrast to another review, I highly doubt it can hold a full sized (40+ inch) longboard as these backpacks were built for skateboards.
