5Army strongOct 08, 2010

I bought this for my son to use as a book bag because he has busted the zipper on the last three (name brand) backpacks. My son carries all his books all the time and this bag is certainly large enough and strong enough. I may buy one for myself to use when on my motorcycle. My favorite feature (which comes with all US Army backpacks) is the quick release feature on the shoulder straps which makes taking it off and putting it on while wearing a coat much easier.

5Worth twice what I paidJan 01, 2011

This backpack probably cost more to make than what I paid for it. It was new, not used/mint as stated, and it is an official military backpack. Everything about it is heavy duty including the sturdiest zipper I've ever seen. I guess the size at ~2000 in/3 as it's somewhat bigger than my old ~1200 in/3 backpack, which I bought for a book backpack my last semester of college. There's only two pockets--the large main and a front pocket. I took out the bladder pad and plastic support which made an extra, thin inside pocket, which I'll probably not use. However, it'd be a great place to store maps and magazines, etc. In conclusion, the pack is not too big and not to small, and is much higher in quality than I expected. I suspected it was a second because of the low price, so I went over it with a fine-toothed comb. Ah ha! One of the strap pads was about 1" longer than the other one. A simple adjustment put the gap behind my left shoulder, and I can't tell the difference, and I'll bet you couldn't either. Guess what? I like this backpack!

4My new favorite backpackAug 26, 2011

What can I say about this pack other than I love it. This pack is small to medium in size but can fit alot of stuff. I've used it for stream fishing, hiking, and even as a range bag. The molle straps alow for expanding. I carry my pistol holster, magazine pouches, and knife all on the outside. Other than the "musty" smell this pack was in great condition. Shipping was way ahead of schedule. Would love to give these people my business again.

5Great backpack!Apr 17, 2012

I got 100lbs in this backpack and it held strong. Use it for weighted pullups and lunges. I use this as my main hunting backpack and its got plenty of space, its rugged, good camo, buts its not that quiet. The zippers can be a bit loud, and the fabric can be a bit loud when it rubs against other fabric or itself. Also having all the clips and straps everywhere can be a bit annoying when they get caught on branches or your tree stand. I still use it because its a great bag. It is also my 2-3 day hiking bag. Does not have hydration capability, but a small hydropack can easily fit under the bag. It doesn't have many features, but its pretty much indestructible and unstoppable, I love it.

What a great small bag this is! I use it mainly for outdoor activities. It is big enough to throw in stuff for an entire day away from home, and not too big so you don't really feel it on your back. Very sturdy and you can feel why the Army is using the Molle for it's operation - It won't let you down...
Great Buy!
