Good for small kidsAug 24, 2010

"Nutmeg"
I bought this backpack for my son as he was entering kindergarten, as it fit him perfectly. It is small, but for a 45-60 pound kid it would be perfect. For school, his homework folder didn't quite fit; the corners stuck out of the top. I had to get something slightly larger, a Hurley bag. If your young son needs a small good-fitting backpack this is an excellent choice. The quality is great, especially for the price. We eventually used it as a hiking backpack, for which it was perfect. Check the dimensions before you buy.

Great backpack at just the right sizeOct 04, 2011
By Adam I read reviews of people saying it's too small or only for they're 4 year old. Well I'm in college and love using this backpack. It is a great size to carry around a couple notebooks, my water bottle, and my netbook computer. I get compliments on it, and it saves me from dragging around a large backpack too and from class. Holds all the things I need without the extra bulk. Obviously if you need carry more this isn't the backpack for you, but if you're just carry a few things, this does a great job at it.
EXCELLENTDec 29, 2011
By nrive84 This was meant as a Christmas gift. My brother-in-law fell in love with the one I have so I found him this one. He loves it! Compact and practical for every day use. I wasn't able to find this specific size in stores.
UNU CAMO BACKPACKNov 28, 2011
By deemae I like the back pack and size, just what I needed for my 18mo old! However, I ordered the Camo one because of the picture shown. But Received a backpack with faint cameo print in the background with Quicksilver in Red lettering and red zipper. Which I just can't stand. Bummed. Hopefully they are sending me the pictured product as a replacement???
Great "little" packApr 19, 2011

"Who?"
This is a very small backpack. That's the exact reason I purchased it. 3-4yr old son loves it and it fits him perfect. He hasn't actually used it for anything yet other than to carry a stuffed animal with him. Now that summer is here and we will be doing more outdoor activities I intend for him to start carrying some of his own stuff. I'm not concerned with it getting overweight for him because I'm sure I could fill it with concrete and he'd still be able to carry it (small pack).
His mother took it once to use as a "Parade Purse". I think her load out was her wallet, keys, a folded poncho, some crackers and a small umbrella sticking out of the top. Was fully packed but worked perfect for her.
This is in NO WAY a school back pack. A single subject notebook, or manila folder or anything of standard letter size will NOT fit in the back pack. Best uses would be as a little purse for girls/women or for small (2-5) children to carry a few little items like a sandwich, juicebox and maybe a windbreaker with them.
Construction and materials seem to be good. Typical of what you would expect of a childs backpack.
