The backpack is outstanding as quality and comfort, BUT IF YOU NEED A BACKPACK FOR A 17" LAPTOP - DO NOT BUY THIS ONE!!! IT SIMPLY DOES NOT FIT!!! I tried it with 3 different brands and models of laptops - it doesn't work... However, SwissGear provide another really good model backpack that PERFECTLY FITS 17" Notebooks - PEGASUS ( http://www.amazon.com/PEGASUS-SwissGear-Wenger-Computer-Backpack/dp/B000FQ8E3Y/ref=pd_sim_e_3 ). Good luck!!!

the bag is very nice and it looks like it would carry my laptop well only one problem it says a 17 inch laptop will fit and mine doesnt too get it in the bag the corners of the of the laptop are bulging out through the zipper...

This bag is top notch in everyway: construction, functionality and design. I debated for some time as to which backpack to purchase for college classes (I'm 59 y/o pursuing my masters). I saw several of these being used on campus and decided to give it a try. I couldn't be more pleased.

Awesome product. Sturdy, durable and looks great. Was in India for couple of months hauling 20+ pounds in this bag. It is rugged and has lots of room.

Pros : A lot of compartments, lots of space for everything, and more, adequately protects laptop and everything you need.
Cons : Feels bulky and extremely heavy. Too many metallic parts makes it feel clunky.
